Really hoping the Redwings win in OT, and that we win in any damn fashion against Toronto. Need this game so bad

The top guys are starting to slow down & reality seems to be setting in with this club that it's too flawed to weather that. Even if they do make the playoffs I really don't like the chances of them putting up a fight against Washington at this point.

This is a must win game. We'll see what Hakstoll is made of. The coach needs to right the ship. The line combinations need to be set straight because they're not working as is. I know you guys are going to hate to hear this but Jake needs to get moved down to the 4th line, he has become a detriment and we don't need G trying to set him up. It should be obvious now the Jake is a one trick pony and the league has figured him out. His only play is to try to go down the right wing boards and fight his way behind the net and around. Cut him off and he is lost. Last night and for several games he has not been able to do it. He refuses to shoot and is bad at passes. Several games this year he has not contained passes and let players break past him for chances on goal.

Carpe Diem time boys. A little worried that Toronto **** the bed yesterday, doubt Babcock will let that slide. I don't think we'll have an easy night.... hate to have to rely on help, but Detroit better damn win in regulation tonight.

Im more concerned about us than them. If Flyers come out fired up...they will win. Thats a big if though.

I think Boston wins tonight too...unfortunately. Hopefully Pens clinch 2nd place tonight so we have a chance Saturday.

The past month's schedule is killing this team. We are thin in the talent dept. and so many back to backs against good teams is taking its toll. I think if we can sneak into the playoffs we will get a little breather and with our goaltending we may make a little noise. Not predicting much, but I'd like to see the team get some experience in the playoffs to build on. Still would like to see Hak set the lines back to the way they were before Jake came back. He can ride the pine for all I care. When you pay for last years performance and get this years crap I have no sympathy for him.

Time for a big shakeup.

Raffl-Giroux-Voracek
Read-Couturier-Schenn
Laughton-Cousins-Simmonds
Bellemare-Weal-Gagner

White and VdV benched as they had the lowest ES TOI last night.

I love this lineup, put your application in sir.

According to Hockey Central, the Flyers wrap up their season against Pittsburgh on Saturday. And people wonder why Rogers Sportsnet in Canada suck as a hockey rights owner......

I don't think this is the time to make such a drastic change to the lineup.

They've had pretty good results in the last 20 games; no need to panic after losing to the hottest team in the NHL and another team fighting for their lives.

The Flyers get maybe the worst team in the NHL tonight, followed by two teams that will likely have nothing play for on the weekend (and could be resting some key players).

The players know what's on the line and I'd rather Hak make adjustments in-game as he needs to rather than starting with something completely different from the start.

how about Meds laces up...

time to sub out the Manning, in fact the time is months months months past.

Flyerfan, I know you don't like #23, but have you been watching the games? The Gudas/Manning combo has been the most consistent of our D pairs since they started playing together. They are standing people up and moving the puck out of the zone. AMac and Streit have definitely looked worse than Manning the past several games.

I don't hate Manning, but I do wonder if Medvedev could stimulate a bit more offense.

thx. but i cant talk to you about Manning... you legit think hes always performing well. and should always be in the lineup over any/every other D man. if i subout needs to be made..

he is what he is a non-NHL dman whos currently playing ...couple more games of this ****show then we will never see/hear from him again

Good luck tonight. We had 8 AHLers in the line up last night in support of people like Boyes, Froese, Grabner, Corrado (19:47 ice time), and Greening. Feast away.

Hexy over paid for voracek and raffl and if coots doesn't get moving with a purpose soon he'll be an expensive checker. Hexy should stick to drafting because he keeps a lot of flakes around that are slow and soft and low skilled.lol
