Many Sabres fans expected more from Dahlin his rookie year..

Same can be said about Canes fans with Svechnikov.

I don’t see Hughes tearing it up. Those that expected Kakko to step in and be an effective top line player 3 weeks into the season should have probably tempered their expectations.

Well those people are f***in nuts because Dahlin was outstanding last year.

Regardless, age 19 seems to be the breakout season for most of the elite-level prospects, but they're generally outstanding at 19.

I don't know if Kakko is a year away from outstanding, but I wouldn't be surprised either.

One thing I noticed with the 1st line is that they would struggle to get our of the defensive zone. And then when they do get out, they ended up just dumping it in without anybody going to retrieve it which leads to it coming back into our zone.

He's an elite scorer but the guy couldn't find his own zone with a NASA satellite.

Like I said..I think he's playing very well right now but also think he needs to put up some more points if he's given #1C status

I can’t tell if you’re serious. HE WAS HORRENDOUS. Rebound control awful. Puck handling awful. And gave up a softie and almost another one. Thank Good he faced very little danger until the 3rd when it was already game over

considering that we only played like 2 games in 3 weeks. Yes, it will take more time.
