How about they continue what they were doing and DICTATE the play like in the first?
Teams are always going to adjust when they're on the short end of things and DQ needs to be prepared for that rather than sitting back and giving up 4X as many SOG against.
That's what coaches do at the NHL level.

Funny that some mocked me for suggesting that before the season started.

I don't recall that but if some did mock you, it might have been because we all wanted to see how he would do when the real season started.

I think we've seen a pretty decent sample size now that his skating is not up to par at this point. He just can't keep up. I'm not sure why as skating never seemed to be an issue from his performances in Finland and in world tournaments. But it's as clear as day right now...he's skating like he's in quick sand since the beginning of the season.

Combine that with no confidence at all in his god given talent and abilities, it's obvious that he needs to be sat down and said that he needs to go to Hartford to work on his game for a few weeks to get himself right.
