Staal Smith looks good so Quinn immediately breaks them up to go back to a pair that has never once looked even decent. More chaos from this coaching staff.

We’re asking a lot of Brady Skjei. It’s not his fault we don’t have a number one dman. He’s playing up further than he should be. He’s a second pairing kid.

If gorton turns Pionk and buchnevich into nylander he’ll get a lot of points from me. But I doubt he makes it happen.

Just never any skill on this team. Keep drafting character over skill and that’ll happen. Or keep benching skill (DeAngelo) over character (McQuaid) and that’ll keep happening.

This franchise just doesn’t get it.

When you cheat try not to go to hard. And keep it within a good portion. Too many people I've worked out go too hard on cheat day and the next day they come to work out with me and are sluggish.... that's when we do suicides

I'd be all for trading Skjei. He was given an extension based on his rookie season. He had a bad sophomore year, and has been even worse to start the third season. It's still early, and I think he has to improve, but his defense is terrible. He needs sheltered minutes. He cant face the elite forwards in the NHL.

Going to regret that contract later on.
