I just want to see the level of disaster that a five some of zucc, Staal, shatty, mclord and lettieri would produce

5 minutes of ice time without mentioning how much better we'd in this game with ADA

It's weird to see the Rangers be the effort team looking great while being down 1-0 instead of the team getting trucked and winning bc of the goalie.

Reactions: Go Away Staal
Admittedly, I haven't caught the whole game, but the bits I've seen have been quite positive. Yet another good performance; let's just start converting already!

50-save shutout for rittich incoming

I think he's a great goalie ready to become a star and earn lots of shutouts in this league. she's shut out a period and shutting out the 2nd so far. Calm cool and collected making saves just focusing on the shutting out the opposition.

but isn't it about who Quinn thinks is the best team to put on the ice? And from the minimal time any of us has seen him play, how in the world is anyone second guessing Quinn at this point when he see's him every day, on the ice and in meetings and other team stuff. But yet....so many experts are questioning a coach (what is it....the fourth or fifth coach he has played for in the NHL - all of whom had the same pattern with him) for putting out who he thinks gives the team the best chance to win.
On a talent level, ADA is better than over half of our defensemen. He’s one of the most talented players we have. Maybe there are other factors in play, such as seniority (players like Staal and Shattenkirk) or off-ice issues, but I argue that’s dumb. It shouldn’t affect roster decisions. You really believe that Quinn thinks Staal gives the Rangers a better chance to win than DeAngelo?

If the Rangers dressed DeAngelo, they would have been 82-0, and that would not help the rebuild.
