Honestly, it's a bit early BUT I think with how hard they play for Quinn and this system, we'd easily be a 100 point team with him if not for the rebuild. And it wouldn't be smoke and mirrors like it was with AV towards the end.

Poor Chytl needs another year in the minors imo. I think when belesky is ready we put spooner back in and use MacLeod as the extra forward and let Chytl tear up Hartford before we turn him into Maholtra.

Was just talking about this with some friends

They play hard. Pressure well, or better. Just low talent right now.

I hope not unless its DeAngelo and one of Zuc, Spooner or namesticov and nothing higher than a 2nd.

I don’t know about Nylander, but a smaller move wouldn’t surprise me

It also could be a minor deal for someone like McQuaid though, Leafs need more tuffness and a RHD

I asked because I could see us being good trade partners, but i wasn't sure if there had been specifc rumors.

And how anyone can think that ADA does not belong on the ice is pretty nuts to me. He has done exactly what he needed to. Even if Gorton thinks he needs to improve, that won’t happen if he sits. But that’s beside the point.

but isn't it about who Quinn thinks is the best team to put on the ice? And from the minimal time any of us has seen him play, how in the world is anyone second guessing Quinn at this point when he see's him every day, on the ice and in meetings and other team stuff. But yet....so many experts are questioning a coach (what is it....the fourth or fifth coach he has played for in the NHL - all of whom had the same pattern with him) for putting out who he thinks gives the team the best chance to win.

Chytil needs some time getting big minutes in the AHL. We are really screwing him right now.
ADA needs to be in the lineup logging big minutes.
Staal sucks.
My god this team is competitive as hell. If we get Panarin this offseason and dare I mention erik Karlsson next year could be a big year.
Buch needs to be on the trading block. Good effort tonight but hes not the answer.

Vesey and Buch will get a goal between them before the night is over.
 
You know, it feels really special that we're now a confidence-building team for young goalies who've hardly ever played in the NHL. :rolleyes::help:
