Pool: 7th Annual C4G WJC Pool: Updates Ongoing

I didnt realize it was against the rules, I also wasnt trying to pull a fast one on anyone. I just didn't want the original player still in the message for the draft to see.

Where does it say you can't edit your pick before the next person has made their selection?
 
Yeah sorry. Just saw the PM saying I was up, saw the pick and just had to go do something quickly before coming back to make my pick (Tolvanen) when I saw he was now gone.

Anyways, I will take the risk then and pick Tolvanen.

It doesn't say that anywhere officially, but I thought that's just common sense, you can't post all the rules. The next person would already see it and start planning their pick. Once it's posted it's final. 12 minutes is specifically a lot much. Not saying 1 minute is fine because it's not, but could go unnoticed.

Just for future reference, this is my logic behind not allowing edited picks if it needs to be stated:

It's not fair to people behind you for them to believe X player is available and they're the only person eligible to take them so believe they can take a few minutes to think the decision through, only to find out those handful of minutes cost them when the person ahead of them edited.

The rule has been edited into the first post.

As far as Tolvanen. I was thinking long and hard about him for both my last 2 picks. I was going to take X player from X team who was uncertain to go before today for sure at 18 if it got to me, and was pleased that it took until this morning to get around to me so that I found out he wasn't going so I didn't take him. That kind of scared me off with Tolvanen as well. I was pretty sure someone would take that shot in round 3.

I had to take the shot at this point. With my first 2 picks being a D and G, I was praying he would fall. A lot of risk, but if he goes he has by far the highest potential of any forward left IMO.
 
Tolvanen is still a pretty risky pick (even though I was going to take the chance on him myself). Everyone is reporting that Finland is still bringing in a couple more North American guys, but that could easily be the USHL guys and not Tolvanen. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

On a more positive note, I found flags that are equally sized. Using Elite Prospects images, which happily enough are all the same code except the number, so they can quickly be changed using the 1 copy and changing a number instead of having to do each one individually
