Florida is well overdue for a loss, they haven't exactly been dominating themselves through their 6 game win streak. At the very least, you'd hope the Leafs won't want to give them the satisfaction of a sweep, but avoiding the home crowd might win out in the end.

that is a terrible way to evaluate information. Big sample against different teams in a regular season where opposition may or may have had different rest period(s), different momentum, different kinds of player(s) with different skillsets, etc....

The same he should be looking at is the 3 game sample so far. This is really one of the DUMBEST thing I've heard Keefe say

Might be the first time I “hate-watch” this team. I hate that they’re going to go beast mode for one whole game only to lose at home in true Leafy fashion. It’s just going to delay what needs to happen immediately.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the terrible trio because if they mail it in like game 3, that’s a clear cry they’re going to demand out by “silent quitting”.

Only win or lose will matter tonight. This is the biggest game of their careers up until this point. I don't care if the shots are 50-10 and we lose. The only thing that matters is winning, I don't care how they do it, but they need to find a way. They should be judged only on whether or not they win and can find a way to win when it matters most. Florida certainly did that in game 3.

literally addressed this in an earlier post as the only thing Shanny has done in his tenure with the Leafs that I had a problem with

He hired Dubas (no experience) who dealt with The Big 4 contracts like someone with no experience.

Dubas hired Keefe, who coached like he has no NHL experience.

Everyone knows he's a poor interview. If he just made up some b.s. that sounded better would that be better.

I want him to say I was not good enough. I need to be better next game. I will be better. and then go and be better, but....

It is crazy he is coming off of a career year and look at what is left after three weeks, a playoff win and leading the team in scoring.

Matthews effort was not much better with his long loops back into the zone, and his one handed chip ins that directly lead to Luke Schenn laying out and taking out our starting goalie.

The maddening part is they have played soooooooo poorly this round and the Leafs are still almost beating the Florida Panthers. If they even play average level hockey..............

It’s interesting how despite me having a poster of this guy on my bedroom wall, I don’t feel much connection to him and the core itself? I guess that must be the reason most jerseys I own don’t have numbers on them-I try not to get attached to players. OTOH maybe it’s the embarrassment of humiliating losses that make me feel this way? I don’t know.
