Putting those two speedsters with St Louis should generate some offense. At least it's solid defensively.

Great...

So we'll have:

Hagelin - Stepan - Nash
Boyle - Richards - St. Louis
Pouliot - Brassard - Zuccarello
Carcillo - Moore - Dorsett

Moore - Girardi
Staal - Stralman
Diaz - Klein

Well, to be fair, it could be worse.

OMG, AV noooooooo! Why Boyle? At least Moore could keep up. Boyle is a great 4th liner and terrible everything else. That's a TERRIBLE idea. He's hurting 2 lines this way. TERRIBLE. Why is shuffling lines every game now?

Could be a lot worse. It could have been this:

Hagelin-Richards-Callahan
Dubinsky-Stepan-Gaborik
Fedotenko-Anisimov-Prust
Mitchell-Boyle-Bickel

Any one of Moore Carcillo and Boyle would be significantly better there. Please at least have Boyle taking the faceoffs before shifting to the wing if he's going to be on that line

AV has lost his mind. Bring up Fast or something. Or play Moore in the top 9, only player with a top 9 skillset. Boyle will just slow down his line. His game isn't made for Richards and St. Louis. What's AV smoking? I've agreed with him most of the time before Kreider went down and since then he has turned into Torts.

Not sure if serious

Anyway, we've been doing great lately, I don't see what the big deal is. Senators are the worst defensive team in the conference. Boyle actually busts his ass every game.

Me neither. I have faith in this team and staff. Boyle on the Richards line might get us some more faceoff wins.

LOL Boyle. Oh well. He's been a good forechecker for us this season. Maybe he'll create some space with his size. Finally, we have a coach that uses Boyle the right way. Fourth liner with PK minutes. Nowhere near the top-9, nowhere near the power play. Oh well.

Hope to bite the bullet.

I still think it's of more importance to get MSL away from Richie, but that's me.

Let's clinch on our own terms, baby.

The thing is if AV wants a guy that can forecheck then play him with the line that forechecks more with Stepan and Nash.

That's been blown out of proportion. Last time we faced Ottawa's backup we lit him up.

maybe it's just the fact that i can only watch limited numbers of games due to my timezone. i must have bad luck and always catch them firing them into the logo.

NYR just seem to have a habit of making terrible goalies look like the love child of Patrick Roy and Dominik Hasek, that's all.

I wonder if teams say the same thing when Cam Talbot beats them :dunno:

Not saying Talbot is terrible, just lumping him into the "backup" group.

Enough with the Boyle hate, yeah he shouldn't be on the 2nd line, but none of the options we have should be in the top 6 besides Miller, and obviously that isn't happening. Boyle has been skating well lately, he can take faceoffs, get to the front of the net and cycle the puck.
