Sens are a pain in the ass to play against, but I have confidence this team will bounce back

Looking forward to this one should be a good game. I'm liking this Senators run so I'd like to see an NYR OT win.

What?

I don't understand the logic of being a New York Rangers fan and rooting for the opposing team to get a point.

I hope the Rangers win the game decisively and prevent their opponent from gaining any points.

I really like to watch karlsson but I'd hate to have him be our #1 d man... Last time I saw him he was a pile of garbage in his end and gets caught jumping up in the play often

Can't say I agree with this. I always hope they take it to their opponent and focus on benefiting themselves alone.

I definitely understand that, it's just that personally the Hammburglar and the Senators is one of my favorite hockey stories this year and I'd like to see them sneak in there. Not to mention I'd rather the Rangers play them over the Bruins, I'm scared of Rask. Also should they matchup against Montreal they are more than a legitimate threat to eliminate them IMO.

Winning decisively, sure.

But preventing the opponent from gaining points? We're 14 points up on them with 10 games to go....

Mine too, but I still will root for them to lose outright when we are playing them.

Yeah I too would hate to have the best defenseman in the world on my team.

This should be a fun game to watch. We've been pretty dominant in Ottawa the pat few seasons so I'm expecting a win here.

Shea weber and drew doughty are shaking there heads right now

Meh. I have them tied for 2nd with Karlsson first. He's not the train wreck in his zone that everyone says he is. The Yandle syndrome. An offensive defenseman doesn't have to suck defensively.

I am sure Karlsson could be better defensively if he applied himself. He is so much fun to watch, his skating is amazing. If I skated like that I would be doing the same damn thing. lol

Karlsson is a fourth forward. Defensively he's not even top ten. Offensively he's probably #1.

Not in the top 10 dmen for defense? Maybe not, but he's closer than many give him credit for. There have been a couple times this season that he has totally neutralized Kreider's speed on the breakout

Erik Karlsson is too busy making sweet breakout passes and controlling the puck to even need to play defense. His skating allows him to quickly get back into position.

Its one thing to neutralize kreiders speed on a rush its another to neutralize a guy like Nash who has more than two moves and can work in the zone
