Why? We see it happen all the time in today's game, it's just been totally inconsistent. It's become a total ****ing joke.

Stralman was primarily a SAHD. And an actual one, not whatever Dan Girardi is doing. His offense exploded in Tampa. Doesn't mean the same couldn't have happened here. He was a better defenseman than Dan Boyle and Girardi. We needed to keep the better defenseman, not sign yet another PP specialist.

However I can put bottom dollar on the fact that Sather and everyone didn't expect Girardi and Staal to decline like this, to argue that the offense could have exploded yea could have, may not have. Boyle was known by Sather but then again this is gonna be the next McIlrath and in 2029 we will still be arguing about the infamous Anton Stralman.


Like I said before I think at this point there is nothing we as HF can do to change history, we need to let it go.

The interference with setting picks and actually pushing players away from the puck is infuriating. The NHL complains about a lack of scoring, yet they never ****ing call interference anymore.
