For what? he won't get much of a return. At least we could keep Yandle. I don't think Nash was that bad in the 1st.

The idea, I believe, is that if Nash does not score a goal then he is the worst player on the team. If he does score a goal then it was a meaningless goal. And if he gets an assist it does not matter as those do not count.

I mean the Stralman thing has been consistently and constantly since Boyle was signed. Boyle was brought for in for Offense 36 points over the 13 points Stralman provided that last season on NY.

I guarantee you Sather and co never saw Staal and G falling off the face of the earth. I have read this over and over and over again. I think we need to let it go.

It is because the Sharks just threw a bunch of long/bad angle shots at the net. Objectively they did not have the puck in the Ranger zone a huge amount of time. Did they even make Lundqvist make one tough save? I guess the one 2 on 1 after the McDonagh turnover. Nothing even close to the Kings game.

It is because the Sharks just threw a bunch of long/bad angle shots at the net. Objectively they did not have the puck in the Ranger zone a huge amount of time. Did they even make Lundqvist make one tough save? I guess the one 2 on 1 after the McDonagh turnover. Nothing even close to the Kings game.

Burns' shot through a screen and a Donskoi/Karlsson wrap around. I'd still prefer them not having 32 shot attempts at even strength in one period though. Some teams don't even give up that many in an entire game.

Dan Girardi, John Moore, and Marc Staal out scored him that season. Del Zotto was 2 points behind in 39 less games on the Rangers. He did not provide as much offense.

Twice against the Penguins and once against the Sabres.

Stralman was primarily a SAHD. And an actual one, not whatever Dan Girardi is doing. His offense exploded in Tampa. Doesn't mean the same couldn't have happened here. He was a better defenseman than Dan Boyle and Girardi. We needed to keep the better defenseman, not sign yet another PP specialist.
