GDT: #71 ⋅ BOS @ ANA ⋅ 7:00 PM PDT

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

The NHL is going through a golden age of offense right now and we're stuck scraping the bottom. f*** me that's irritating looking at other team's top point producers.

DPE 2.0 will be upon us once/if we’re ever competing again. On the other hand, the GDTs rarely require any updates. :D

Need to get the Zambonis done up like the Party Wagon.

Also need to ask Alexis Downie if she'll dress up as April O'Neil.

It would have be a game against the kings as Shredder's henchmen, with their shiny helmets. Make Verbeek take off his glasses and he'd be Splinter. The four forward lines would have to wear painted headbands on their helmets to signify which TMNT they are while wearing the 30th Anny jade and plum jerseys. Alexis would have to be given a red wig; maybe could use the red wig for future halloween costumes like the black widow, ariel, or merida? And if the Ducks score 5 goals, then free pizza from Little Caeser's?

i stopped caring about the draft after 2023. this franchise is never winning a draft lottery and i'm tired of losing

This. There's a few kids in the top 6-7 range I'd love to see the Ducks nab but 2023 was a special exception. The season was already shot, the talent at the top was can't miss, and there weren't as many kids in active NHL development.

We're at a point now where a little under half the active lineup is part of the team's work in progress youth core with a number of them who would be considered top prospects leaguewide if they were still in juniors, the AHL or Europe.

If it's between a 7th overall pick and a 10th or eleventh pick, I'd really rather see the team doing whatever they can to use the remaining time wisely to have something to build on next season. The only real benefit I see to losing right now is it might move us closer to firing Cronin and Clune (god willing), but that should happen regardless.

I just don’t think Cronin is going anywhere. Mac, Leo, Cutter, and LaCombe have all made progress this season.

The assistant coaches should all be gone but who knows anymore.

Special teams have really been a big part of the issues this year.

Eh, LaCombe has made progress. It's tough to say if Cutter has, because he has no previous seasons to compare it to. I'm on the fence if McTavish or Leo have, and like I've said before Leo seems to have made more progress in 2 weeks with Sweden's coach than he has under a year and a half of Cronin.

They have made progress in other aspects of their game. Production not so much , and well I put the fault towards the PP there. So much missed production there.
