I was a really big Hampus Lindholm homer but I admit now his best days are behind him, injuries + age he doesn't seem to be the same player anymore. Boston is stuck with him for duration of contract.

I've thought since last season that Boston is the perfect matchup for the Ducks in regular season because of the Ducks young Centers vs Bostons weakness at Center and the Ducks have beaten them a number of times the past 2 years. Last year that one game in Boston they beat them well despite the Refs hurt feelings and that was a Ducks team that was 3rd worst in the league.

Me last night….

Some nights it's "relax by the fire with a beer" and some nights it's "stare into the abyss of the flames."

Glad last night was the former

Tomorrow is going to be intense. First time Trouba facing off against the team that didn’t want him anymore. Trouba was also well liked in that Rangers locker room. I am really curious how the Rangers players will react.

Add a couple of ex-Rangers in Strome and Vatrano as well.

Tomorrow is my SCF. Not a lot of Rangers/Ducks fans out there so it’s hard to relate but gonna enjoy every f’ing min of tomorrow’s game.

Last night was MY SCF; thrilled to see the Ducks win as they did, but hated to see the Bruins play so poorly.

Any chance Trouba fights someone that he may have had problems with? I remember when Calgary traded iginla to the avalanche. He fought that one fake touggg guy I believe england

Boston are f***ing woeful, but that's very enjoyable to see. And I'd be lying if it doesn't amuse me slightly given Lindholm signing long term, just to end with only 1 playoff series win and now in a long rebuild.

I mean this as inoffensively as possible but....

The ducks really need to get back into the playoffs if you guys consider these mid-offs your SCF

What's worse is their GM might pull a Bob Murray and not fully commit to the rebuild and hope a healthy team rebounds and try to float around like the 2010s Minnesota Wild stuck in mediocrity hoping to sneak into playoffs with 8th seed to only get destroyed in first round every time.

Boston has had a few bad years here and there but they haven't done a real rebuild since...Bobby Orr. It's just not in their DNA to do it.
