Checking in for the first time this season. This is the 4th game I've watched and that's more Flyers hockey than I've watched in a 2 week span in probably 3 years now. Please don't judge.

I'm kind of shocked at how solid the team looks. Couturier and Atkinson being back has made a big difference and getting rid of DeAngelo has been a plus.

I was going to mention Bobby Brink too and right on cue he pots his first goal.

The only explanation I have for the 4th line not changing and even starting games is you have these plugs (that’s harsh, I like poehling) are getting regular minutes. Younger guys hungry for minutes (Frost, and to an extent Brink and Tyson) have to see these guys with lesser skill are getting played… so how are they getting in the lineup? The least you can do is dig in as much as these slugs.
Whether we think it’s BS or not it’s because of “buying in and selling out”

I don’t agree with it but I get what torts is trying to instill - gotta do more than have raw skill to be in the lineup if you’re not gonna work as hard as these meat heads..
