Elliot Friedman mentioned that there are successful teams utilizing their fourth line to literally make nothing happen at all. Hopefully forechecking, not counted on to score… but to buy time. Some players cannot play their off side. Tippett looks like one. Getting entries and seeing the ice is a lot more complex than sprint speed.
