If Trouba fights Tkachuk tonight, when was the last time the same player fought brothers in back to back games?

Brett Lindros fought Eric Lindros once, though that was one game.
IIRC it was more of a scrum, but still historicalThey actually fought each other?
When I watch "another team's" good PP, while winning that first FO, and seemingly having possession for the whole 120 seconds in the o-zone (or anywhere for that matter). Tiring defensive players, does wonders for that PP unit, that "may have" had the opportunity in making a line change, does wonders for the % as well. So maybe we can win 1 or 2 tonight. So, Zibby has really struggled in the circle so far, and Kreider has been poor when filling in for him.
IDK if the solution is Laf, or someone else, but everyone else has been better than those two so far.
I can say that I believe the faceoff issue and the powerplay issue are directly correlated with one another.
If I’m not mistaken didn’t Kesler Fight both Tkachuks and the dad. That’s something. If Trouba fights Tkachuk tonight, when was the last time the same player fought brothers in back to back games?
We're breaking trends and creating history. This team has always come out flat after the first game back from a road trip. Doesn't matter who the players are or who the coach is, thats just how they do it.
Expect nothing less tonight. Igor will need to keep them afloat before they get their legs and decide that they should try to win the game. Hopefully before the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period this time.
Joel Otto was really good at FOsCant criticise winning, but jeez. I have 2 major concerns.
The year in and year out inability to win FO's. For crying out loud, hire the mesiah, or anyone that KNOWS all the tricks and nuances of winning a damned face off. That inability leads to my 2nd concern.
Our PP. There are currently 2 teams with OVER 40%, and 4 (count em') at 33.3% and above. A bunch at 29%.
We are at 12.5%. Inexplicable? Maybe. Unacceptable? Definitely.
Losing a greater majority of FO's always leads to at least a half minute wasted, before we eventually set up on o-zone.
Its no wonder why we are at 12.5%, kind of contributes towards it, doesn't it?
Oh, OBVIOUSLY.![]()
And shit, did I type Larry? I meant Lanny obviously.
same here. The ones they were wearing before were abominations. All the worst aspects of 2000s design smushed together. Them and St. Louis were probably the two worst offenders along with AnaheimIm glad the Flames have returned to their classic red and yellow uniforms.
gotta figure that it happened with the Sutter brothers at some point. If Trouba fights Tkachuk tonight, when was the last time the same player fought brothers in back to back games?
The pinstriping and whatnot.same here. The ones they were wearing before were abominations. All the worst aspects of 2000s design smushed together. Them and St. Louis were probably the two worst offenders along with Anaheim
The Penguins always have 6+ regulars out thoughI know people will say Strome and Kakko have been out but look at the Penguins. Puttin up 7 spots without any significant players, so I don’t really buy into those two being out as an excuse. Strome and Kakko are nowhere close to losing a Crosby and Malkin, which makes me unsure about our top 6 specifically.
I just don’t feel the chemistry yet or even more so, I don’t see a cohesive plan in the offensive zone or a great plan for transition in the neutral zone. It’s like one person is reacting to what another person does and it shows as if they’re thinking the game slow and not knowing what the game plan is in those zones

Rangers fans: our guys are crap-tastic.Monahan on the 4th line

This the guy some of you wanted to 'upgrade' Strome to?
Careful. You might get a Phaneufin’!no Hakan Loob, Mats Naslund or Joey Mullen?
I still think Wash and Col were god awful as well. Wash is in it's own league of crap, but any team that used the Edge "apron strings" template looked absolutely terrible. Honorable mention to the old Pitt and Ott templates too.same here. The ones they were wearing before were abominations. All the worst aspects of 2000s design smushed together. I guess Strome confirmed back in. But why Barron?
