everytime I think nothing can be less enjoyable than watching this team play, i come here and read the reactions and realize i was wrong. the doom and gloom is unreal. did people not realize we were gonna be awful?

Last year they sucked and I thoroughly enjoyed the season minus a few stretches. They're beyond unwatchable this season.

Dave decided to put Howden on the 2nd line, but because Howden sucks it consequentially turns into the 4A line.

Playing the guys that are doing well on a particular night is good coaching, having a player whose last decent NHL game was in November 2018 centering your 2nd line is not.

Something. I mean I have a lot of things I want him to do, but this is unacceptable. The last few games have bene truly unacceptable. Quinn's coaching this year has been horrible.

Let’s not kid ourselves, this team stinks and it’s objective should be building towards the future, with one of the main pieces of that being Kaapo. So far “developmental coach” Quinn has failed at giving a situation where he can do good

I would have bet my life savings on either that being the result or the Coyotes scoring in the first 30 seconds. It was so predictable.

Developmental coach is a media thing. Quinn's goal is to try and win games. One way he will do that is by getting the younger players to play better. If Quinn completely neglects trying to win (and not saying he's doing a good job about it) then that will result in him losing his job and possibly not getting another NHL job. He is not going to try to crater his career.

It's very difficult for a coach to survive a 10 game losing streak. It happens on the rare occasion. You have to ask yourself if firing Quinn at this point and starting over would be worth it. IMO you hired Quinn to bring these kids along and you have to stick with him. Just because the Rangers Signed Parnarin and traded for Trouba didn't change the fact that the team is young and is still in a development process for which Quinn was hired to oversee. Firing him now or, this season sets the team back.
