I almost hope Dorsett ****s up and we still win, but he gets replaced for good. The guy is a scrub. A bit of a better version of Hollweg.

Door-stop excels at skating fast and losing the puck and taking stupid penalties...the teams winning don't mess with the chemistry

As long as Dorsett is no where near the top 9, I have no issue with him being in the lineup. He fights, PKs, and can add a touch of offense. Remember before he got injured, the 4th line was doing just as well when they were together.

Except AV is not the fighting type coach and I doubt that he cares that he fights.

Your opinion...my opinion, he loses every fight, he's a mediocre PKer, and he adds no offense and takes ridiculous penalties...don't mess with the chemistry

Sure, but Carcillo is in there I'm sure for the same reason.

Carcillo has been solid for the Rangers. I have no problem with either in the lineup. Isn't it nice when we know what our 4th lines role are supposed to be?

Dorsett looked so out of place when he came back. Going offsides and mishandling the puck every shift it seemed like.

Why AV, why?

Exactly.. I like the whole toughness thing, but he sucks at fighting and loses basically each time.

Carcillo has plenty of guys who don't necessarily want to even take him on.

Carcillo has tiny flourishes of offense, Dorsett doesn't. He's the more skilled player by a pretty big margin IMO, he takes less penalties (which is amazing since he's Carcillo, but he's been extremely disciplined), and there's not a whole lot between them in their own zone.

Dorsett's coming off of injuries and he's not as bad as he's been playing. He PKs, I'm sure putting him on that unit and using Nash/MSL more sparingly has a bit of a knockdown effect but I still go with the hot hand #TeamCarcillo

Still wouldn't write off Dorsett as of yet. The difference between him and Carcillo is pretty negligible at the moment IMO, except one is right handed and the other if left handed.

I'm shocked that people think they are interchangable. From a name standpoint, sure. But in my opinion, from watching the games this year, it hasn't even been close as to who the better, skater, forechecker, offensive threat, catalyst etc has been.

Only thing Dorsett has on Carcillo is fighting major.s

Oh God, loss.

Dorsett. :(

Nobody likes car bomb and always want to hit him.... so they worry about him instead of the game itself... Nobody gives a ***** about door-sit! And car bomb has scored some important goals for us

How hard can it be not to take so many stupid penalties? I mean even Carcillo did it...
