Just back from vacation, excited to see this new lineup for the first time. Love the addition of Marty, but very sad to see Cally go. He was my favorite Ranger and I had just got his jersey for Christmas.

There's a few line combinations I'd like to try.

Just flip Kreider and Hagelin to have the finisher with St. Louis and the playmaker with Nash:

Kreider - Richards - St. Louis
Hagelin - Stepan - Nash
Pouliot - Brassard - Zuccarello

Load up the top two lines, Hagelin and Pouliot were fairly successful with Miller in th middle earlier this year:

Kreider - Richards - St. Louis
Zuccarello - Stepan - Nash
Hagelin - Brassard - Pouliot

Put Nash and St. Louis together - they played a lot together on Canada's 4th line. 2nd line was a successful one from earlier in the year:
Nash - Richards - St. Louis
Kreider - Stepan - Zuccarello
Hagelin - Brassard - Pouliot

True. 1st round picks are valuable if it's top5. The Rangers have only had a top5 pick once in franchise history. I think that was in the Original Six era. Says enough. We never suck enough to draft high.

on a much more serious note, the Rangers really will have to watch Andrej Sekera, aside from the Staals. He's a really good defender and can add on the offense as well. Tries to go through center ice a lot, when he's carrying the puck, please deliver a knockdown.
