That was a fun period. I liked how Quinn got all over Vesey for passing up a shot and then passing up a hit. Great pass by Pionk to spring Lettieri that led to the penalty that Kreider scored on. Rangers have a historical tendency to be too cute....always making that extra pass and usually not driving the net enough. You really got to go after the other team and all the time. Take their space away and get in their goalies grill.

My stream is fine. Situation is everything. I'd rather hit the net when there's a good scoring chance than when it means zilch.

Don't cross steams with me, though.

Not to be Negative Nadia here but this 19-7 SOG 1-0 NYR lead has the unmistakable feel of a power play goal against in the 2nd period followed up a 2-2 tie at the end of the 2nd, and a 3-2 deficit within the first 10 minutes of the third and a 4-2 ENG.

Just let it unfold Nadia...

By the way, can I have the hour by hour weather in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in March?

He's an elite 3rd liner, and has proven himself to be an effective puck retriever in the top6.

I do wish that we'd use him as a 3rd liner though, instead of putting him with highly skilled guys. Most of his points are from creating opportunites by being relentless on the puck; Kreider-ZBad tend to play more off the rush.

Pair him with other guys that want to start their offense by dumping/hounding (cough Howden cough).
Can we please stop using the word elite? There is nothing elite about Fast.

I like to imagine that the Avs intermission message is "we're being outshot by the Rangers"

It's probably, "Mike, they gotta start shootin' the puck when they get in that area of the ice. Lundqvist is one of those guys that's had a great career but the last couple years, he's been very beatable so you have to test him when you get a chance."

Al, just because you don't understand doesn't means you have to cut him off from talking.

If I were to guess I'd say that Buch is either not doing something in practice they want him to do or he's not following their instructions for some game details that they want out of him

rightly or wrongly...to me I think you let him work through it at the NHL level but I don't know what the coach wants exactly
