The tkachuk brothers, etc. high intensity guys Zegras is the only “top” guy who seems to have that for us ( yet he just doesn’t have the size or speed to go with it) lacombe may have that too let’s hope. Up 2-0 on the road in a playoff type game/importance you need your top guys leading by example. Instead it’s always guys like killorn who do this( and that’s not great for us) we need the guys who are supposed to be our next gen best players to do this.

Dude Matt tkachuk was a known choker until he got to Florida and getzlaf perry and Brady tkachuk all had motor issues until they reached the midpoint of their careers

They only played like 10 good minutes in the second. The rest of the game they barely competed.

Exactly how the f is this possible? I can’t blame Cronin solely for this. The makeup of this team is to fing vanilla up and down the line. Verbeek has been trying to address this when he picked gaucher a pick most of you didn’t like. But the dude plays very hard and competes. They say sennecke is the same way. He must see what I see. Guys like Leo aren’t play drivers. They are passengers Who wait for someone to do something instead of doing it themsleves ie why a lot of this team minus cutter and vatrano won’t shoot the puck enough

The opposite of what you need. Even bottom line players need to inject confidence and energy into your bench. And on good teams, score at a decent clip too
