That’s as bad of a loss as I can remember. Infuriating
I’m talking about the hard drive that certain player types have. Perry and getzlaf both knew how ti ramp it up when it mattered. The tkachuk brothers, etc. high intensity guys Zegras is the only “top” guy who seems to have that for us ( yet he just doesn’t have the size or speed to go with it) lacombe may have that too let’s hope. Up 2-0 on the road in a playoff type game/importance you need your top guys leading by example. Instead it’s always guys like killorn who do this( and that’s not great for us) we need the guys who are supposed to be our next gen best players to do this.Leo's had a perfectly solid game. You're hating for the sake of hating at this point.
What did Killorn do to stem that bullshit aside from turn the puck over every time he touched it?I’m talking about the hard drive that certain player types have. yup. Pat got what he wanted, for the team to be playing meaningful games late into the season but his dumbass coach drags the team down. It's fine being out talented, but being outworked should be off the table. All that talk about excited to play meaningful games and you get outworked by buffalo? You aren't ready then.
Yes, Ty aggression. You are conflating emotion with aggression.
Worst loss of the season given the context.
Disgraceful effort. Leave Cronin and the entire bottom 6 in Buffalo and let them walk home
Maybe tonight. But for the most part he’s one of the few guys always playing hard the entire game. What did Killorn do to stem that bullshit aside from turn the puck over every time he touched it?
Well it's on the players too. Cronin shouldn't have to motivate them at this point.yup. Pat got what he wanted, for the team to be playing meaningful games late into the season but his dumbass coach drags the team down.
Dude Matt tkachuk was a known choker until he got to Florida and getzlaf perry and Brady tkachuk all had motor issues until they reached the midpoint of their careersI’m talking about the hard drive that certain player types have. Exactly how the f is this possible? I can’t blame Cronin solely for this. The makeup of this team is to fing vanilla up and down the line. Verbeek has been trying to address this when he picked gaucher a pick most of you didn’t like. But the dude plays very hard and competes. They say sennecke is the same way. He must see what I see. Guys like Leo aren’t play drivers. They are passengers Who wait for someone to do something instead of doing it themsleves ie why a lot of this team minus cutter and vatrano won’t shoot the puck enoughThey only played like 10 good minutes in the second. The rest of the game they barely competed.
Cronin’s over utilization of the 4th line is a major issue. They never sway any momentum they in fact just give it to the other team and cause whatever line follows them to already have to start their play forechecking in the defensive zone.
Leason has flashes of skill but the guy plays with zero urgency or enthusiasm.Leason can hit the bricks. I'm 50/50 on Lundy.
Both need to be gone 10000%Leason can hit the bricks. I'm 50/50 on Lundy.
Yeah I should have specified which 4th line of ours I meant lolHalf of the forwards are not NHL quality. That is as much on verbeek as it is cronin.
The opposite of what you need. Even bottom line players need to inject confidence and energy into your bench. And on good teams, score at a decent clip tooLeason has flashes of skill but the guy plays with zero urgency or enthusiasm.
