My wife actually went to the theater to see Jerry McGuire with her sisters. They all loved it. I've never seen that or Edge of Tomorrow. Kevin Costner is another big name I sometimes don't get. I did like Draft Day, though. He basically plays the same character in all his movies.

Cruise is definitely on a higher level than Costner. 3 times nominated for best actor at the Oscars.

Cruise is talented, no question. The one I really miss is James Gandolfini. Love The Sopranos, then I started watching him in movies. He actually had outstanding range. He was a brilliant scumbag degenerate in 8 MM. I was really bummed when he died.
