Hartnell is impossibly bad at this.
Ragnarsson and Markov were among the workhorses that series. You guys remember Bryan McCabe? The Flyers worked him so hard during that 2004 playoff series...he was a disaster
They're afraid to dress him in road games against big, tough, teams, or so I've been toldI dunno why Lycksell is on the team if Torts has no interest in playing him. Get Allison or Laczynski up instead.
We had some good defensive depth, and for some reason Clarke thought it was a good idea to trade a few defenseman that deadline. Then we ran into injuries on the blueline during the playoffs which pretty much killed usRagnarsson and Markov were among the workhorses that series.
It's a gimmick game in a shit hole city inside a boring ass football field. It'll probably be half emptyThere's still tickets available for the outdoor game?
Not surprised
Loved Danny Markov - guy played so hard every night and Ragnarsson was so steady. Can't believe that was 20 years ago damn I'm old...Ragnarsson and Markov were among the workhorses that series.
That was a freak show of injuries for the defense. The initial injury to Desjardins could have been catastrophic. In the long-run, trading Justin Williams for Danny Markov was damaging but short-team Markov was arguably the Flyers best d-man that post-season. Getting Vladimir Malakhov helped as well. The D appeared to be set even without Weinrich as a complimentary player and Therien as filler. But then Desjardins fracturing his arm late that regular season could have been a death sentence for an elongated PO run. Losing Kim Johnsson with the broken hand in the opening round was another blow though he returned even at less than capacity. Sami Kapanen playing D?! They took Tampa Bay to a 7th game with Matty Timander (another good acquisition), Markov, Malakhov, an injured Johnsson, and young Seidenberg and Pitkanen. Incredible when you think of Desjardins and the difference he would have made.We had some good defensive depth, and for some reason Clarke thought it was a good idea to trade a few defenseman that deadline. Then we ran into injuries on the blueline during the playoffs which pretty much killed us
That goal against New Jersey! Killed the demons or Devils in this case.Loved Danny Markov - guy played so hard every night and Ragnarsson was so steady. Can't believe that was 20 years ago damn I'm old...
And Meadowlands has popular harness racing that night, too. It's a gimmick game in a shit hole city inside a boring ass football field. It'll probably be half empty
