Does anyone know the earliest he can come over? I thought someone said the soonest we could see michkov is 2026. Is that a thing for Russian prospects?

Michkov is a potential generational talent so Ska wanted to keep him as long as possible, and also say F.U. to the NHL, so they signed him to a 5 year contract. It's not very common at all. But I don't think Buchelnikov is signed beyond next year and is on a junior contract right now. He could technically come over now, he's just not physically ready and hasn't played any pro games. My guess is he splits time between the second pro league and the KHL and then comes over next year.

My guess is. Based off his KHL contract... He'll basically have to smuggle his-self out of Russia if you want him before then. Which is possible still.
