They just loaned him to a different KHL team because he's too good for the VHL, and it's hard to crack an already stacked SKA team, so this is the best situation for him, in theory. His hockey IQ is incredible, so I'm not too sure about the Yakupov comparison.

Too good to play at U20 level, socred 3 points per game there.
Got some taste of "Rssian AHL" at men's league this season, and also 10 KHL games.

Nice to see him became KHL regular. Even as a bit weakened league, it should be the right level for Buch to develop.
