the roster isnt as good as the contenders and theres no one coming up in their system that will change that, they need a #1 defenseman and someone that can handle the top lines of the best in the league, theyll spend the next decade between 5-10, if they have a vezina performance from the tender they could make noise in the division, otherwise theyll be an also ran every year that may take a contender to 7 games and people will be impressed

Anybody see what Ennis did to earn the elbowing penalty? They didn't show it on the MSG stream. Good on Ehrhoff though, with a nice SH goal.

. Columbus has a very impressive stable of prospects in the system and its best pieces are nowhere near their prime (Johanssen, Jenner, Murray) or in the NHL (Wennberg, Rychel, Bjorkstrand, Dansk, a stable of quality D prospects).
