Nah bro, sorry. There was no better team in the 1st. We need someone to spark some jump into the team.

And again, at least we can count on OTT taking penalties. Something that finally favors us, since the PP can be finally called that.

Well if you think they were both mediocre I guess I'd agree.

This place can be unbearable when the hive mind decide to harp on every god damn thing a slumping player does.

......so true. Amusing though, even after all these years. Fans are fans. Don't need to make sense because.......hockey.

In my opinion he is always a heartless, overrated loser and passenger. A guy with an 8M cap hit had a little goal streak so he's a golden boy again? Rick Nash is hands down my least favorite Ranger of the past 7-8 years.

That's your opinion and it's fine, but Nash is also the most talented forward the rangers have had in the past 7-8 years. I can't remember the last time I saw a player in the rangers jersey who could take over games offensively like he has.

Lol this. Just put him at center if he's gonna go beast on all those faceoffs.
Another reason why kreider is a top calder contender. he seems to play 2 positions out there. he can score, forcheck but he can also win faceoffs and pass ebtetr than our top C lol

Jagr

Nash is a turn over machine and makes terrible decisions with the puck. Constantly. And he rarely, if ever, "takes over" a game. I haven't seen it once yet this season and can't remember him doing much of it last year and certainly not in the playoffs.

Nash needs to be better.

I dont think nash is heartless BUT he seems that he looks to score all the time(probably because of his time in columbus). My only issue is that he tries to beta 3-4 guys on his own and misses open guys

What games has Nash "taken over" for us?

Really though. Kreider just charges and knocks the defender off the puck for the takeaway. Great hustle from him. Not the first time he's done it either.

The first half of last season he was an absolutely dynamic player. Cbus fans said early in his career he went into "Olympic"Nash mode 12-14times a year but it regressed to 6-7 by the end of his time there.

I don't disagree with you about his talent level. Unfortunately, we could have said the same about Zherdev. Or any other number of examples around the league. Having game breaking talent doesn't make you a winner, or even a game breaker, if it's not paired with team work and effort. Nash lacks both. At the end of the day, he rarely utilizes his skill set to take over games the way you say he can. All of the skill and dazzle dazzle in the world is just polish on a turd if the player is a floater who lacks heart and hustle AND doesn't know how to even play a team game to maximize their tools. Rick Nash, especially at the money he makes, is just a handful of glitter on the roster. He doesn't make it better. He just makes it sparkle sometimes.

feel bad for kreider he is with 1 guy who cant pass and 1 who wont pass
