Good to see that MZA has been to the Theo Fluery school of 'little guys not taking s*** from anyone.

We fought back well after looking poor early. BR had a really good period, as did Staal. The 1st line is probably our weakest 5 on 5 line right now, something needs to be done

This place can be unbearable when the hive mind decide to harp on every god damn thing a slumping player does.
I like stepan and usually i give players a chance to get out of their slumps but this has been going on all season

They are playing decently, considering it is an afternoon game, and on top of that against the Senators. These were often dreadful for the Rangers in the recent past.

Not really pertinent to this game specifically, but I have been pleased with Carcillo thus far. Really disliked the guy before he came here, but I have to give him some credit. He does all of the little things right and is pretty tenacious on the forecheck. Hard not to notice him every time he is on the ice.

Really starting to see the huge issues in stepans game this season. What is causing this?

I bet it's the same thing that happened with Richards last year. Came in out of shape, wasn't that great athletic wise to begin with, he spent the rest of the year playing catch up.

Stepan looks similar.

3 games removed from a 4 game goal streak and Nash is back to being a heartless loser?

In my opinion he is always a heartless, overrated loser and passenger. A guy with an 8M cap hit had a little goal streak so he's a golden boy again? Rick Nash is hands down my least favorite Ranger of the past 7-8 years.

I'm hoping that's not the case.

I do like stepan's game but this year he looks really tired/disinterested. I had a bad feeling that missing training camp would hurt his season. He has never been a good skater but this year he looks even worse than pyatt in terms of skating. His passing has been the biggest surprise usually he makes clean cut passes

Moore deserves a cookie for the way he defended Zucc there, thats what we've been asking for all season, for players to stick up for eachother

I agree. This plus confidence, which you need in order to get going but can't get until you get going, is what's wrong with him. Although it should be clear now he's not ever going to be a true top line C.

And he's third in points on our team, still plays very solid in defensive and neutral zones, is a great special teams player, still makes very difficult passes to spring both Nash and Kreider. Some of you just need to give it a rest. It's a slump and he's not useless.

Not the best display of hockey we've had all season but I think we were the better team in the 1st.

Nah bro, sorry. There was no better team in the 1st. We need someone to spark some jump into the team.

And again, at least we can count on OTT taking penalties. Something that finally favors us, since the PP can be finally called that.
