Lokti should be in but they are a disaster in their own end together. They should not be on the same line together unless the other wing is a Zajac which makes no sense.

Hey there. I made the GDT in question. I'm afraid the context of the Flames forum kind of was responsible for my remark in the "good news" section. Flames fans know full well that the roster we have this season is unimpressive, and most of us are delirious with the way we've been performing. This is the first game of the season where we aren't underdogs (according to Vegas), so it kind of comes as a relief. If you're not a favourite when playing the Flames, it kind of does say something about your team.

Posting a clip has also become a 'thing' in our GDTs, and given we haven't played you in two seasons, we don't have many available clips with your current roster. The only other one which came to mind was Brodie's hit on Parise.

I do wish you guys the best of luck. I feel bad for everything that's gone on with Kovalchuk and surrendering picks and all that, so I hope you guys can turn it around... after tonight.

fayne as the odd man out consistently is aggravating to say the least. and like everyone else is preaching get gionta outta the lineup. gotta love him for his work ethic and hes a good story, but just no. loktionov, josefson, fayne, Larsson should be regulars as far as im concerned and even tedenby (who knows what his story is) should be getting in there fairly often especially if he shows some promise.

Couldn't say for your fans, but it's not like a team board GDT is a thing of exclusivity. It's a great place to get insight and see what each team thinks of its own performance or different views on controversial plays, etc.

As for acting high and mighty, well it's definitely too early in the season to be sure about who's better than who. But as a fan you can only hope for the best for your own team, right?

He is scratched because Henrique is back at center and Elias is still at center. Loki can't play wing this he sits. Thinking I imagine is Henrique might start looking better back at center then at wing.

Problem is as long as both Henrique and Elias keep playing center Loki will sit and JJ will only play wing (and only if Olesz sits).

You can get insight all you want, I do it too. I don't go over and call their team atrocious and I'm coming in peace or whatever you guys opened with. Best part is this is coming from Calgary fans of all people. Random matchup with a team with little history.

No Brodeur has not been playing well IMO. Had an absolutely atrocious game against the Islanders last week, and an okay game against Edmonton. Schneider had a whatever game in Pittsburgh, and a damn good game in Vancouver.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brodeur is the difference in tonight's game. In a good way for Calgary.
