No, that’s why timing is important when blocking shots. He messed up.

There's no reason to even attempt that. Blocking the shot goes from a 99% chance Lundqvist makes the save to 100% chance. But then there's always the chance what happened happens.

The game I have here locally are the Caps. They are on now and I could understand a blackout of the Caps' games. I can't figure out the rhyme or reason for this blackout here.
