The game I have here locally are the Caps. They are on now and I could understand a blackout of the Caps' games. I can't figure out the rhyme or reason for this blackout here.

It’s because it’s on NHL Network. All games on NHLN are considered national broadcasts even when they’re not doing anything but pick up a local broadcast (in this case the CBJ broadcast). I believe the only way that’s not true is if you’re in the local market if the game, in this case the NYC or Columbus areas.

No, that's why you allow goalies to have clear views of low percentage shots instead of trying to perfect timing and block an easy shot.

It's good to see Skjei-Smith rebound in this game.

Vigneault is always going to use 6 defensemen very equally, all things considered.

Jones, Savard at 14-15:30 minutes
Werenski and J.Johnson are 13 minutes
Murray Carlsson at 11 and 7 minutes

The lowest ice time for us is 10:43 for Holden, 14:43 is highest for McDonagh. At ES, Holden and McDonagh and co. are all playing roughly the same amount.

Everyone is fresher but we're much more fallible because of how much ice time the fallible players like Staal-Holden are getting.

Our best hope is to pray Staal-Holden improve and maintain.
