Igor let up 2 bad goals, but he also made some big saves at times when yet again the Rangers were caught with bad rotations and assignments. Happened AGAIN on the 3rd goal. Even the 2nd goal, a bad sequence where they were getting pinned a bit.

I am just over this team being run by David Quinn.

Bummer. The team played well. Deserved to win that one.

Positive of the game: Miller seems to be getting better every shift.

Quinn has to go. This team lacks structure. There is no system. It's just a bunch of guys who don't even know how to read each other. There's been a massive regression since the covid break. Right before it this team was red hot and then poof.

It took this team months to buy into his so called "system". He is not a good x and o coach.

he let up two non nhl goals. as in, NHL goalies are expected to save those 99% of the time

he absolutely lost this game for us.

We want to play a lazy perimeter game. We want to pass up shots. We mishandle the puck.

There it is. The perimeter game. The sample size is small, but the three opponents thus far all collapse in their own zone and very few of our players have the desire to go inside post.

Shesty let in two he should've had. Miller and Fox look like legitimate pillars to build the back-end around. Vets continue to be MIA while the kids are all playing quite well for the most part.

Considering shesterkin’s stick blade ended up between his legs that should tell you all you need to know about how ugly he played that. He was awful. He got best by rust a few mins earlier and got lucky it hit the post.

He’s asleep no other way to put it right now.

consistency is his thing he isn’t showing it at all. He’s not making big saves. I mean these are 3 games all should have been won and he pissed away the first game in the first 10 mins of it.

Team looks like they didn't play at all during covid. Panarin has missed more one timers in 5 games than he did all of last season. They need to get their skills back quick in a short season and only playing against the division.

I agree, the loss is on Igor.

But all too often Pittsburgh had wide open players with space. It finally bit us in the ass on the 3rd goal, even if Igor should have saved it.
