Realistically, if you were to book this the way the "Rules" of booking the business dictate, Cena goes out with a loss putting over the next generational star.

Which is why the safe bet for me always has been Bron.
I guess Bron is fine. Start building it soon and tease it throughout the year. Then put Bron over in the retirement match.

I don’t love Bron, but I get it. He’s probably the best option at this point. How many other up and comers would make sense to get that rub, and then make the most out of the push? Not many, if any

Cena's last match in December should be him eating a clean pinfall to Jacob Fatu.

It kind of depends how big that Cena rub is these days. It's definitely not the same as it would be 10 years ago.

Cena hasn't won a singles match since 2018.

How much do people really value a win against Cena these days? I guess if he has a decent year from here on out it could amount to something, but yeah, just doesn't hold the same weight anymore, really.
