A lot of people are infatuated with the idea that Randy ends his career.

Realistically, if you were to book this the way the "Rules" of booking the business dictate, Cena goes out with a loss putting over the next generational star.

Which is why the safe bet for me always has been Bron.
I guess Bron is fine. Start building it soon and tease it throughout the year. Then put Bron over in the retirement match.

I don’t love Bron, but I get it. He’s probably the best option at this point. How many other up and comers would make sense to get that rub, and then make the most out of the push? Not many, if any

Cena's last match in December should be him eating a clean pinfall to Jacob Fatu.

It kind of depends how big that Cena rub is these days. It's definitely not the same as it would be 10 years ago.

Cena hasn't won a singles match since 2018.

How much do people really value a win against Cena these days? I guess if he has a decent year from here on out it could amount to something, but yeah, just doesn't hold the same weight anymore, really.

I mean it's not really valued much by people "In the know" anyways considering they all know this is the guy they're trying to slam over.

The overall goal is to throw that guy into the spotlight when it's the brightest and may attract new/lapsed viewers. Cena's last match has as good a chance to draw those viewers as anything else they can do.

Also, Kairi Sane has been postin pics and videos so her training with what looks like the former Xia Li, so she's closing in on a return. @Kairi Zaide

I think that might be the ticket...
I mentioned Corporate Punk a few pages back. CM Punk is a unique character where as a heel he can still send the fans home happy to close out WM getting his Mania moment. I think you throw Cena in there too for a triple threat, Rhodes carries the match giving Punk/Cena some rest periods. Sets up Cena/Punk for Summerslam.

Chelsea should be competing tomorrow.
She's busy next week, tag match on NXT.

Also, it's Friday night so...
