I'd take physical sticking up for teammates types of penalties over the lazy or non thinking ones like too many men or delay of game.

By the way Chytil’s metrics thru 4 games are off the charts. Kid should be playing 20 mins a night. His combo of size and speed in the middle of the ice is a nightmare for anyone. Meanwhile we’re throwing Ryan Strome who is about as tough to place against as my mother in the middle of the ice half the game. This can’t continue

Yeah love nasty dmen as much as the next but Miller definitely doesn’t look hesitant at taking the body and using his frame to separate the man from the puck. Kid is already built at his age in another 2-3 years sky is the limit

No, I won't come on. Quinn is consistently inconsistent. The team took two penalties in Pittsburgh, which is a feat unto itself. Both trips. He punishes for one but not the other. I didn't create the standard, Quinn did. He has no patience for mistakes from Lemieux and ADA. Infinite patience for Strome and Howden.

He is doing a poor job as a "development" coach. Lemieux gets a handful of minutes to get into a flow of a game while second guessing any hit or play. Its a bad recipe for a guy that thrives on the edge. He deserves more rope after that Jersey game. Quinn is setting him up to fail. He is demanding a compliance to his philosophy while creating double standards. Its not just about Lemieux, its bad for the team going forward.

Quinn will likely got hold on these guys . Lemieux played hard. 1 bad penalty and bench .

How many times can he do that? Even TDA keeps getting the same treatment yet Howden never sits

Then when the Rangers show up to the big dance and get swept without putting up a fight it'll be a problem with no enough truculence and not being hard to play against and not having enough bite.

I’m hoping that’s the case. Maybe he’s a bit banged up but last thing u wanna do is neuter a guy like Lemieux. We need guys who can skate and have energy and the kid has some skill.

My immediate impression as well. FWIW I hear Blackwell can be useful if used right, i'm curious to see him play.
