If AV really wants to hold people accountable:

Scratch Glass
Scratch Boyle
Move Kreider to 4th line
McIlrath in.

Nash-Brass-Zucc
Miller-Stepan-Fast
Lindberg-Hayes-Stalberg
Kreider-Moore-Paille

Nobody hates Fast in the top 6 more than me, but after the disgusting effort put forward by Kreider, he needs to move down the lineup and I want that 3rd line to build chemistry.

AND Hank needs to start. He'll have 7 days off after tonight, he can handle this b2b.

I didn't think Kreider was that bad yesterday. Hayes however.. he was an abomination.

Wait is Nash hurt?

And McIlrath still scratched hahaha AV is the worst. But hey Tanner Glass, Girardi are still in there every single game.

We don't know what is what until 5:30pm for the AV presser. Nash is likely to be in, based on what AV said yesterday. No idea about McI.

ROR Reinhart and Eichel are the threats. Risto is DANGEROUS. He's better than most of our defense. Kane is a non factor. He's dumb. No hockey IQ.

THE Sabres have shaky goaltendjng at best. Defense is weak all around ... Get it done rangers. Don't lose while I am up here despite me liking buffalo too. This has a must win written all over it.

AV playing Fast for 12 unspectacular minutes and then praising his play was the most hilarious thing he's done since the Glass goal last season.

Let's be real here - we're not getting any accountability here. The same slow, horrible players will continue getting spoonfed minutes, while better players will either be stapled to the press box or given joke minutes with joke deployments.

If you have any questions about buffalo feel free to ask I've got your knowledge right here. Their numbers aren't that terrible. But they are still a struggling team with still budding players

AVs tenure here reminds me a lot of a 1980's Jaguar:

Everything is amazing for a few years until the entire thing breaks and all you want to do is get rid of it.

I would say that the Rangers are venturing into a zone....of danger.

The spectacular egg we laid against Ottawa will look like a Robin's egg if we manage to embarrass ourselves tonight. Buffalo has some good pieces on both ends. Really like where they're headed, but they shouldn't be capable of embarrassing the Rangers just yet.
Rangers should be fine if you don't let ROR, Eichel, and/or Ristolainen go off. Sabres have poor secondary/tertiary scoring, and as a whole, haven't scored an ES goal in the last ten periods, just 3 PPG. A good omen would be breaking Buffalo's PK streak as they've killed off 19 straight, while the bad omens would obviously be multi-point games from the previously mentioned three, penalty trouble, or some uncharacteristic depth scoring from Buffalo. The offense weighs heavily on those three to create it, so stymie that and it should mean two points. That's how many Sabres games play out these days, as they look considerably better but have a long climb up from where they were the past two years. Which goalie starts tonight is really inconsequential as both have done enough to get wins, but more often than not, don't get enough goal support making wins more challenging or Johnson lets in something that reminds you why he's only a backup: "Chad Johnson has appeared in 18 games since the beginning of November, logging a 9-6-2 record with a .936 save percentage and a 1.98 goals-against average during that stretch. In three games since returning from a high ankle sprain that sidelined him for 39 games, Robin Lehner has logged a .936 save percentage and a 2.36 goals-against average."

Hmm, let's see...

A young, hungry team with something to prove.

A game at MSG, a building where visiting teams get up to play for

A former Rangers back-up goalie in net for the visitors.

This is going to be a disaster.

I'd like to think this team is capable of beating the Buffalo Sabres, but after that spectacular display of Meh on the ice yesterday and Alan Vigno suffering from a terminal case of "Smartest guy in the room" syndrome I am not optimistic at all.

I was told this AM that Ron MacLean HNIC....has picked NYR and LAK for the finals with LA winning . I never caught it on the tube this AM and it was second hand info.....for all I know it could have been a three year old repeat on TSN LOL.....would make more sense .

Obviously this isn't a garbage Sabres team anymore. Much more talent than last year but if this team loses tonight at home after yesterday's debacle there better be moves made
Before the next game.

The Sabres are still pretty garbage.

McGinn on the first line, Moulson on the 2nd. Their 4th line has maybe 1 NHL player, Bogosian on their 1st pair. Mike Weber just playing.

Hey, I got a Jaguar and it is a really nice one without any problems. But decidedly not an 80s model :sarcasm:
They were a mess with the electronics back then. Much better now, nice synopsis on AV btw
Gonna buy me a Maserati this spring though...
Time for a new coach then as well

If we pull it together and go on another run only to lose to the god damn Kings again in the finals I might die.

Yes.

Around the bi-centennial? Yes. Now it's just parroted by RangersTown

A former Rangers goalie in net for the visitors

I don't think he gives a hoot. We aren't facing Mike Richter's new team.

This is going to be a disaster

I really don't know what to expect for the Blueshirts lately. I'll just keep saying that this is a team with a lot of miles, so I'm not going to read to far into narratives.
