I said it last game, I miss JD. This inane drivel is so annoying.

I never got to listen to JD, only in like youtube videos.

"call your cardeologist!" - just love it ... He's with STL or what? At some point we'll need some fresh insights. Maybe Valiquette can work his way into live coverage

Hank with the softy kind of. ****ing Gionta though, sick deflection xD

I know that Hank was complaining about preparation, not play, but if you are going to let in that goal, its hard to maintain credibility calling out your teammates like that.

I know everyone was looking down at their keyboard to formulate some witty response about what a terrible goal that was, but for all those who didn't bother watching the replay, Gionta tipped the shot and it just changed direction and fooled Hank.

Come on man even you can admit he shouldn't be leaving gaps when he's playing against the post like that, deflection or not, it went right through him

How is that NOT an interference? Rist didn't even go for the puck.

He couldn't have done much differently there - still a crappy goal. Sometimes the puck just has eyes. And sometimes Keith Yandle should stick check to prevent a deflection.

That's a goal he has to save, period. The deflection argument works for the Miller goal, the Gionta goal Honk was in pretty **** position, didn't get hismelf set up and his 5 hole was free when it shouldn't have been. That's a bad goal and he knows it. I doubt anybody would complain if it were Hank that got beat by the Miller goal, but the Gionta goal is one he has to stop.

Gionta made a nice deflection and it dipped and changed direction. He makes the save if the puck isn't deflected.

It was an ugly goal no doubt, but not as terrible as some are making it out to be.

You think it's AV doing it or the team just getting complacent cause they have a 1-0 lead on the buffalo sabres?

It has nothing to do with the Sabres.

The Rangers are 25th in the league in CF/60 while leading. They generate absolutely nothing once they have the lead. They stop playing offense.
