Yea I thought it was definitely a head injury, just based on Clowe's face when he was being helped off the ice.

We have guys in the AHL to call up, would have rather seen Haley there. I guess they figured Gilroy wouldn't be seeing much ice time so how could he affect the team as negatively as he has.

I don't think there was enough time to call them up. But good teams should always have extra NHL forwards traveling with the team. Some of the healthy forward scratches on Chicago and Pittsburgh are far superior to the likes of Gilroy.
