Offensively he may, that is only a fraction of the game though. His strength on the puck needs to improve or his stick technique. If you can’t get the puck back below the hash marks then you will never really be counted on at the NHL level. I think stick technique will improve.

They are different and both can be effective. Casey will never go end to end but he also likely doesn’t get caught out of position as easily. Both are talented but both have elements to work on .

Tacks on another PP assist. This one a nothing secondary. He has a pt on 12 of Utica's 20 goals in his 11 games down there.
Pretty impressive stuff from Casey this year.
We have a pretty significant amount of depth at RD. We can probably be patient this year and let Casey and Nemec spend the year in Utica.
One could certainly be.a major trade chip, though not sure there is a trade out there that makes sense. Probably a comparable young forward would need to come back.

Leading the team in points in 10 games. Poor Simon hasn’t gotten on the board in 5 games.

ive caught snippets of games here and there and as goofy as it may sound i think ive liked nemo's overall play a little better
casey's offensive zone presence is the best aspect of either of their games right now, we're talking legitimate star level play, but i think the D zone is still more of a work in progress. the biggest thing is hes small and feels small defensively. thats not to say hes playing small. to the contrary, hes actually decently fiesty and willing to initiate contact, hes just getting ovepowered and taken out of plays in the process. both can get cute on the puck but i think ive seen casey get surprised by high intensity forechecking more
nemo is more effective with tie ups and turning quick strips into counter attacks. the no panic thing can be a detriment at times, but defenisvely i think it helps him make a really composed breakout pass under pressure. he plays bizarrely high up on the pk at times, but beyond that ive generally liked his positional game more
casey is a dynamic offensive talent who excels on the pp, nemo is just a really good support piece offensively. i think the latters production is hurt more (much more) by the lack of finishing talent up front because hes primarily facilitating play a lot of the time and focusing on getting pucks up to players in transition whereas casey has been a bit more do it himself and is basically gift wrapping free goals to these forwards on the man advantage. again, not comprehensive viewings by any means, just offering input
