I guess Wizniewski is right, they add some physical play...Rangers worn down

Wonder if Lundquist's ego is more important than at least a slight chance to win/get a point? Hanks confidence is already gone missing anyway..

I didn't see the first goal but are we really crucifying Hank for letting in a breakaway and a snipe? By that logic Talbot let in a soft goal last game too.

Because whoever is out of favor on the boards is always put under a ridiculous microscope by people who post first and think later, if at all.

It's an unfortunate score. I would have liked Hank to stop those shots -- especially since he has stopped ones like them past years -- but they weren't cake either. Overall, I can't fault him entirely for our deficit, but I certainly can't commend his performance either. Here's to a better all-around showing in the third.

It amazes me that this fan base has turned on the best goalie this franchise has ever had after 30 mediocre games. The ****ing kings fans are calling Quick the best goalie ever and he hasn't been above .910 since 2012. We have some of the least loyal fans in sports.

Woke up to this mess ? Yeah Ill just go right back to sleep. Net one please Zucc, lord of hockey and good things.

(Wtf did Kreider do?)

I don't ******* care if Wisniewski is "wide open". Lundqvist HAS TO, repeat HAS TO make that save. Bobrovsky is down on the other end making saves on breakaways and odd man rushes.

Doesn't help when the refs kick a guy out of the game for a legal body check either.

How many odd man rushes have the Rangers had/successfully executed compared to the Blue Jackets? Bobrovsky is hardly making that many difficult saves.

Please. Youre obviously watching a different game or want to blindly defend Lundqvist.

Did he not stop a breakaway?

Its a yes or no question.

Doesn't matter, he's paid to bail the team out every now and then.

Night after night he's being outplayed by the opposing goaltender. That's unacceptable

Did you not see the save he made on Jack Johnson? THAT was a ridiculous chance, and an unreal save. You probably wouldn't know what it technically took to butterfly side that quick across the crease and time it perfectly to make the save, which is probably the reason why you don't understand what the issue is.

Teams score goals. Thats the game of hockey. You give a team odd man rushes, and prime scoring chances and they are going to get buried. No NHL goalie continually stops high-quality scoring chance after another. Eventually some are going to find the twine.

No, he's still the best goalie in the game. And that's WHY I'm mad. I expect so much more from Hank because he's so much BETTER than this.

When your stars suck, your team sucks.

Callahan is having his best game of the season and he's still getting destroyed in here.

Can't handle all these agendas.

Two soft goals let in by Lundquist, and a BS ref call on Krieder. This could be the worst goaltender signing since Dipietro. Sather and Dolan should go sell shoes or something.

Sign Lundqvist for arguably worst contract since DiPietro

????

Sell shoes!?

???

Profit?

You know the reason. We lack any sort of real talent. It's why we are in the bottom in the league in goal scoring (24 out of 30)

talent is not the issue when people are missing open nets, passing on prime shot chances, and fumbling with the puck out of fear. this team is so mentally ****ing weak is sad.

This team is so damn fragile.

None of those goals were soft. But that being said, 9 million dollar goalies need to make some of those saves.

Amazing how the momentum completely changed with the 5 minute major and game misconduct on Kreider.

Kreider held himself up from drilling him then gave him a tap on the side of tyutin who happened to be off balance. Give him 2, but not 5 and a game, that's a joke. Anytime a player gets injured on a hit they throw a player out.

Anyways, Rangers are without their leading goal scorer for the third. So the Rangers need to dig deep and find a way to get 2 points out of this game or they lose another chance to get 2 games over .500.
I agreed Kreider really slowed up and wasnt trying to hurt Tyutin. Kreider is so strong that even a small tap and you go flying. i really hope he doenst get suspended because that wasnt even close to game misconducts that i ahve seen

Best post in the thread. I am glad you understand the game of hockey. Kudos. :handclap:

Oh BS.
I have played the game from four years old through college.
Oh, and I was a goaltender.
Hank has not been good this year. First goal was garbage. Any goalie playing decently moves out of his net and smothers that tip.
He really doesn't get the blame for the second two, but he needs to make a big save more often.
And please, don't tell me he has made a bunch of big saves in this game. He hasn't.

From what I've seen Hank isn't losing this game for us. He just isn't winning it for us. It's amazing that we crumbled after some ref went full Pejorative Slur on Kreider.

I was a goalie for 18 years so I know what you're talking about, don't need a lecture. It was a nice save. Bob's made 5 of those type saves in this game, that's why we're losing. Hanks' being outplayed
