I expect Nash to score a goal tonight. For the Blue Jackets

i can see the game winner of a Dubinsky shot deflects off of Nash helmet into the net while Nash is lying on the ice with another concussion

I don't know if Hank lovers understand this, but this is not how you build Hank's confidence. You play him against a good team, not against a bad team. If he beats Chicago it would be a huge confidence boost. If he can't win against Chicago, then we can just say that Chicago is a great team. If he losses tonight, there will be little excuse and it will damage Hank's confidence even more. Logic 1.01.

I think it's time to change up our first line. It kills me to say it, but I feel like Kreider's production is being stunted by playing with Steps and Nash.

Put him with Zucc imo.
Agreed. Zucc-Brassard-Kreider would be a good line IMO

Hope that Carcillo plays 7-9 minutes tonight.

This is a winable game. Need to work hard because they will.

put 7 on the board against Toronto, watch the mighty Rangers put up 2 tonight.

:shakehead

Carcillo and Dubi should be fun tonight.

Here's to hoping that Carcillo is allowed to play his game.

Isn't he the scratch?

We're forgetting Jody Shelley. I bet he'll come out on the ice, throw the puck in the net, and just stare down the ref.

It'll go to Toronto and it'll be a ruled a good goal.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you here.

Hank's confidence is shot. You don't get that back with one win. Just like you do not erase a 4 goal hole with one goal.

You get Hank in there against a team that we should have success against. You start to re-build his confidence slowly. One save at a time. However, Win, Lose or Shoot-Out Loss, you go back to Hank in Chicago.

Hank beating Chicago is not going to restore his confidence. Hank stringing together numerous strong efforts WILL restors his confidence. You do that with a middle of the pack team, then bring in the tougher opponents.

you don't throw a guy with shaky confidence between the pipes against a team like Chicago.

Isn't Shelley a reporter for FS Ohio? Last time we played CBJ I almost didn't recognize him, he could actually pass for a gentleman in that suit. As a player he always had a black eye or two...

I respectfully disagree with your logic. But if you ask me, people usually get send to AHL to get confidence.
