Why be so dismissive about scores for other games when they do effect the Rangers?

Vancouver - Dallas, I can understand. Winnipeg - Carolina, ****, either we have or don't have sole possession of 8th.

This thread is a Post Game Thread about the game between Florida and New York.

There is a thread dedicated to all the other scores literally a single slot below this one.

Missed almost all game tonight. I just had a chance to watch 10 min in the third period. Did they really play as good as the score on the score board?
 
Rangers control their own fate, it really doesn't matter what the other teams do.. Win out and we are in (since Jets have a game in hand on us)
 
Boy, did the rangers struggle to get the puck out of the D-zone tonight...against the panthers no less. They couldn't break it out, clear it, dump it off the boards, nothing...it was frustrating to watch. IDK if the defense is that tired or if the forwards just didn't do their jobs. Compared to last year the coverage in the defensive is night and day. It was pitiful to watch at times, but im happy with the win. Brass and cally stood out and hank was hank.

Yup, thats the goal.. get to the 2nd period with a lead.

maybe they should be hungry for 60 minutes. :help:
 
Hopefully the hat gives Brad a big boost.

Clearly if he's wearing it he wasn't doin too well after last game
 
Stepan was our best forward through 40 minutes. Could have easily had another 2 points.
 
Wow guys! Just, WOW! My 2 fav. Rangers score doubles and I am just so happy. I was thinking about it at the draft deadline, right after the trade, but now I just have to... Brassard is really an asset. My next Rangers jersey (my brother is going to NY next month) will be a home jersey with #16.

Isn't it nice we have a talented guy who can actually skate, wearing no. 16 now? No more Avery memories when seeing no. 16
 
As fun as that was to watch (well most of it and especially the 3rd) it's hard to get too excited over it.

Need to keep the battle level up tomorrow.
