I was just thinking that this is my tipping point with Hextall as far as judgment goes. Keeping Berube on despite his sheer idiocy in running the lineup is one thing, but allowing Mason to played hurt for a week and letting people like Berube and the medical staff think it's okay is completely dumbfounding and makes me sour on Hextall for it.

The idiocy and infuriating nature of this team right now is so bad for me.

This makes me finally sour on him too, but that's not fair. Bellemare was him, Carlo was him (Berube not playing Carlo is another issues somewhat related, but also somewhat not), the Umberger deal is meh, and there's not exactly much he can do with the D. MDZ, Schultz, and I think Carlo were all good signings. Mac, Coburn, Grossmann, and Schenn were all here already when he took over.
