It is possible that the Rangers over-compensate to an opposing star player. Neither Stamkos nor Tavares are great vs NYR either, but guys like MSL and Moulson/Parenteau come up big.

I remember a couple of years ago Stamkos torching us like every game.

What about Bernier and Carter for the Devils. They always burn the Rangers.

In that regard, it's good that Dupuis is out. He's always good for a goal or two, along with Kunitz.

You know Pyatt's getting one.
 
After the Orpik interview, I legit feel bad for him. On one hand you get elected to your country's olympic team, and on the other 75% of the USA fan-base ***** all over you. He even recognized the fact that maybe some other guys should have gone ahead of him.

I'm sure he's a nice guy. (Aside from the fact that he knee'd Stepan 2 years ago) But it was a headscratcher from the beginning. I'll be watching for him tonight. I really hope that his skating issues are overblown.
 
Got this weird feeling we have a monster game tonight. We've been playing well against the pens 6-3 win
