Still way too much passing on the PP. Panarin won’t shoot on the PP, Strome won’t, ADA won’t, Mika looks off lately

~this PP1 personnel is wrong and it doesn't work~
it would work fine if they didnt skate practically into defenders so to make shooting or passing impossible

same stupid shit they do on 5 on 3s but now at 5 on 4. infuriating.

not enough net front presence, no plays down low, it's all to the perimeter, no shot off of the dish anywhere, opposition collapse by every team works well against it.

Benning is a weird GM.

He consistently finds absolutely amazing players for nothing and absolutely adores useless players.

Not much middle ground.
Yupp. Great at drafting. Poor at signing FAs. And generally doesn’t do well in trades besides the bozo trade

Structure wise, that's the best period they've played in a while

Baby Rangers have already beat the baby Canucks. What the future has decided, the present cannot undo. Its just a question of time catching up to tonight's final score.

I do not understand the trepidation about shooting the god damn puck on this team. This goes back the Renney days.

With ADA and Strome where they are, there's no chance for a one-time shot from those parts of the ice. So teams can just collapse and not have to worry about a shot. They need someone who can one-time the puck either up top or where Strome is to open up other passing lanes.

I remember in the 90s JD would talk about telling kovalev to shoot in Russian “.strelyat, strelyat, strelya” so it’s been a issue for decades.

Just wait until we trade Kreider and Fast lol
