I would call him “extremely workmanlike”, if that’s a thing.

Not really. But by the time he left there seemed to be a pretty large rift between him and the coach, so I don't think he was in a happy place.

Honestly, I don’t believe this is a contending or playoff roster but I also do not believe it’s as bad as the results. Quinn is absolutely clueless and has no business coaching at the NHL level. I’m so done with him and, personally, I think the players are rapidly tuning him out as well. His antics have a very short shelf life in a locker room, IMO.

One of the biggest indictments on the coaching staff is that the defense hasn't improved one iota in Quinn's tenure.
