The Rangers style really kills the Canucks. D move pucks well, forecheck hard and give us no time in the neutral zone. Canucks couldnt play their regular high tempo game cuz the forwards were not supporting the D.

Rangers might be an average team in the league...but their style killllllls the Canucks game. Canucks got lucky.

Well our structure was good, all our d played well and our forwards back checked hard. It's a start.

Skjei was bad. Even Staal was better than him. Stupid high sticking penalty. Goes deep in the o zone on one shift, making his team get caught in transition. Almost blew a handoff with Georgiev.

Skjei played really well.

As did basically the whole team.

Sometimes the only player to blame is the all-star goalie at the other end.

And the refs. Who apparently hate Quinn as much as we do.

Kreider, Strome, Skjei, Lias, all moved by the deadline would be fine by me.

I like Kreider and Strome, but we can always re-sign them in the offseason if the price is right (it won't be for Kreider).

Trade Kreider and Strome while their value is high, trade Georgie before his value is non-existent, and begin the real tank. Byfield is a real possibility and would be the last piece needed to make this team a contender for a decade.
