You are seeing them on an off-night.

That last shot was tipped. He'll be a consistent 15 goal scorer in his prime. He has a great shot just has missed the net a bit early in his career.

He's missed the net a ton on good scoring chances.

All I know is about twenty minutes before my Fantasy draft I read somewhere that Markstrom was one of the league leaders in "quality starts" last season. I didn't and still don't know what those are but I took Markstrom late and it's been going fairly well so far.
